You don't need to see more of Germany

Forget Neuschwanstein and the old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, get to know Germany from a completely different, sometimes shockingly intimate side!

By Holger Moos

In the photo book Heiter bis wolkig. Eine Deutschlandreise (Fair to cloudy. A Journey through Germany), you can get into areas and situations that are not mentioned in any travel guide. The three photographers David Carreño Hansen, Sven Stolzenwald and Christian Werner travelled all over Germany to capture cheerful but also very cloudy scenes. The results of this photo safari illustrate the following sentence from Frank Goosen's foreword: “Anyone who has ever travelled from Koblenz to Gießen by regional train knows that novels about freedom and vastness are written elsewhere.”

Once you start leafing through the volume, you can't stop. But it's best to take a look for yourself!
