Unsolicited applications
In its music work abroad, the Goethe-Institut develops, organizes and selects artists for concerts, master classes, workshops and symposia in virtually every music genre, and sets programming priorities for the Goethe-Instituts in each region, country or city. Our institutes abroad work with the leading partners in their local music scene to develop joint projects out of this ongoing dialogue.
The Music Division at the headquarters in Munich, assisted by a volunteer artistic advisory committee, advises the institutes abroad.
Professional musicians (whether solo or in an ensemble) based in Germany should feel free to send us unsolicited information material about themselves and recent audio recordings by the Cultural Funding Application. The Music Division will receipt the information and contact you if an opportunity for an engagement arises. Given the large number of submissions, please refrain from following up with personal enquiries.
Unsolicited Applications must be submitted by the Cultural Funding Application. Please take note of our applicable privacy policy with regard to your submission.
