BFM presenter Kam Raslan invites two guests each week to talk about the wonders of world culture. Each guest presents a self-chosen topic. This week at BFM: a special guest from Berlin, Germany; journalist Cora Knoblauch who is in town as part of the Goethe Institut's "Close-Up" journalist exchange - diving headfirst into her snapshot of multicultural Malaysia with questions surrounding the hijab. „Cooler Lumpur“ festival director Umapagan Ampikaipakan asks the table the price we pay for culture from a sustenance perspective. But we kick it off with something light and simple, like we always do, as Kam tries to break down the complexities surrounding a dish like the Hainanese chicken rice.
