Central Residency Programme for Visual Artists and Curators

Who: Artists and curators

Section: Visual Arts

Duration: 4 – 6 weeks

The Department of Visual Arts at the Goethe-Institut headquarters in Munich gives visual artists and curators from Germany the opportunity to pursue their artistic research, to produce and present their own work and network on the spot with the local scene during a working residency abroad lasting several weeks.

The candidates for the annual fellowship programme of the Goethe-Institut are proposed by the Advisory Board of the Department of Visual Arts and then submit application documents. The approval of applications is decided by a jury chosen from the ranks of the Advisory Board and will be communicated to the candidate following the jury meeting. Those members of the Advisory Board who form the jury do not propose candidates.
